What Happens During My Child's MUSICAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE?
Starting something new and performing can feel a bit nerve-wracking, but we want you to feel excited and ready to perform. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what you can expect when you join the Frog and Toad Kids musical theatre class!
Step 1 - Meet Your Theatre Family
When you walk into your first class, you’ll be welcomed with open arms! You’ll meet your fellow performers and get to know your teacher, who will make sure you feel comfortable and excited. Together, you’ll start to build a fun and supportive theatre family.
Step 2 - Get Your Script and Character
Next, you’ll receive your very own script and character assignment. Whether you’re playing Frog, Toad, or one of their friends, you’ll start to see just how fun this adventure is going to be! Your teacher will walk you through your role and help you feel confident and ready for the stage.
Step 3 - Learn the Moves and Songs
Now the fun really begins! You’ll start learning the songs, movement, and lines from Frog and Toad Kids. Your teacher will teach the choreography for group numbers, and you’ll have chances to sing, act, and perform alongside your castmates. It’s all about building new skills while having a great time on stage!
Step 4 - Rehearse and Build Confidence

FAQ
We try to keep class sizes small with a maximum of 15 kids.
This allows us to provide more individualized attention to each child and ensure every child gets a role they love.
We are unable to have parents sit in class due to our limited space. We do have a comfortable waiting room for parents to watch their kids on the TV in the lobby!
For children under the age of 5, we ask parents to remain in the lobby for their child’s class. Otherwise, you are welcome to drop off your child and return a few minutes before their class is done!
Yes we do! We have one big performance for each show!
For our Musical Theatre classes: any comfortable clothes for exercise is perfect
Yes. Even if you don’t have any musical theatre experience, we send home videos of routines so you can watch them and your child can practice them all at the same time.
This gives your child the opportunity to experience what is happening in classes at home!
Additionally, you can always ask the teacher for advice on how to help your child practice. By simply monitoring that they are doing routines nad memorizing lines a certain number of times per week, the student will progress.
The short answer is NOW! The best time to learn is as young as possible.
