Great tone for a Newby
I’ve started using these strings on a cheap Yamaha F335TBS and I’m really amazed at the difference from the factory strings. I’m a new player working my way towards getting better. I try to play 6 days a week for 45+ minutes so they’re “dulling up” after about 2 months but I’ve got no complaints. I feel like it’s a good deal for the price.

Easy to string and sound great!
I’ve been using these strings for only a few months so time will tell how long they last but wow they sound so clear! I’ve never strung my own guitar until I ordered these, super straight forward and easy to do. Simply put, I’d definitely recommend this product.

Maybe it’s just the gauge
I don’t like these strings at all. I have been having a very hard time finding strings that sound good and feel good. These feel like they are rubber bands and sound just as bad. Maybe I just need a heavier gauge.

Excellent guitar strings!
Bright, full sound with long lasting tone. I change my strings every 3-4 months weather they need it or not and they never really have. They always sound “still new”. I’ve tried other brands and none sounded as good as these, and all of those were changed in less than three months. These strings tend to cost the same or less than other brands but never better. Finally, Epiphone Masterbuilt come with this brand of strings. As you probably know Epiphone is a branch of Gibson guitars. These are the strings they chose.Give them a try!

Great sound, middling longevity
The strings sound great – slightly bright and more “full” than a cheaper string. That being said, I come from a typical Elixer guitar string background and find that virtually every other string kind of stinks for longevity and playability. While these strings sound great and would be fine for maybe 1 week of playing, I wouldn’t recommend using them for anything professional beyond that – I’d be restringing my guitar weekly if I relied on these strings. They’re more cost-effective than Elixers but they last maybe 1/4 of the time as their brightness does wear off (a typical D’Addario experience IMO). Very good strings for a specific window of time.

Easy to use and work great!
We have purchased these before and my son loves them. He just started playing guitar last Christmas and has really picked it up nicely. He said these are easy to use and change out. The quality is excellent too & way nicer than the strings his guitar came with. Very happy with purchase!

Highly recommended. Very good strings.
I usually play classical (nylon string) guitar, but have an Ovation deep-bowl acoustic electric as well and after the original strings wore out, I never have found strings that I really liked (don’t ask me why I never thought about contacting Ovation and asking them what they use from the factory. One of those duh things I didn’t even think of until just now).Based on reviews and questions answered here on Amazon, I purchased this triple-set of strings. Instant gratification. First, they tuned up quickly and retained their tune on a relatively respectable basis (no new string holds tune perfectly for the first couple of days, but these retained tune fairly well). The sound is excellent, the playability comfy. The tone of my Ovation was back. Here are my itemized observations:* First, three sets for $13 (currently). Cannot beat the value for price.* BRILLIANCE. What many people call “bright”, brilliance is the opposite of “dull”. Some strings sound dull right out of the package. These strings are brilliant, bringing out the full tone and maximum volume from the guitar.* TONE. The natural tone of the guitar is allowed to shine through, no hint of “tinniness”, “plunk” or “twang”.* MELLOW. Mellow is difficult to define, but the best definition I’ve heard is, “Ah, that sounds nice.” Mellow is a string settling into a guitar and becoming part of the guitar. It’s a pleasantness that doesn’t grate on your ears when you pluck a string. These strings are medium-mellow, just enough to allow one to enjoy the sound without falling asleep. : )* BALANCE. At first the E overtoned the b and e. But as the strings settled that became less pronounced and the strings balanced right out. The trebles became clearly audible while the E and A provided just the right touch of bass.* COMFORT. The 12-53mm diameter of these strings is comfortable to the fingers. Thicker strings are often more difficult to play and can even damage some guitars. Lighter gauge tends to cut into the fingers unless the guitar has excellent action. These strings are just right– especially the 53mm E, which provides the proper amount of bass without overkill or difficulty in strumming.SUMMARY: These are excellent strings, which doesn’t surprise me since I’ve use D’Addario classical guitar strings for years. Martin and GHS are both good strings, but somehow D’Addario just shines. Thanks to Amazon enthusiasts who helped me decide to give these a try. Highly recommended.

Good for what it is
I’m getting older and thought I’d try these very light strings. They are easier to play. I have a high frequency hearing loss and notice the tone disappearing after 2 to 3 weeks of intermittent playing. I put on 11’s yesterday and the tone of the slightly heavier strings was noticeably better right out of the box. So if you just want a light string to practice on, and you don’t mind changing them frequently, these will work. If you plan to play in front of an audience, I would recommend something heavier to insure a better tone. Cheers

Great value, the 3% extra tension really helps!
For as long as I’ve been playing acoustic guitar (sporadically over the past 15 years) I’ve always had a set of these. Recently I was using D’Addario 80/20s because that’s what my new acoustic came with, and while I liked the tone, they do tarnish quickly and were gouging my fingertips (I’ve just gotten back into acoustics and have electric guitar calluses from the much thinner 9 gauge). So I figured I would see what the difference between the 80/20s and the phosphor bronzes were like.At first I didn’t like the phosphor bronze’s tone, but after having them on for a week I now love what I’ve heard described as “warm and buttery” with just enough sparkle and long sustain. I love the rose-gold look, and they tarnish much less quickly than the 80/20s, almost as if they’re coated. Speaking of which, the gouging in my fingertips has decreased dramatically since installing these. I’ve read that these have 3% more tension than the 80/20s, and that extra stability seems to be helping tremendously in forming my calluses correctly. I’ve tried DR Rares and thought they had too much tension (as advertised); these are just right. Still playable, bends easy, solid, dependable. Some guitars sound better with different strings, but I would say you should always at least try one set of these. They’re affordable, come in packs of 10 (making them even more affordable), have corrosion resistant packaging and helpful ball end colors, and you get D’Addario’s Players Circle bonus points with each set. I may try other strings in the future, but will probably be sticking with these.

IMHO the best acoustic strings sold at any price
I will keep this short. The price is unbelievable, it’s nice to have three sets in a box and these are the best acoustic strings on the market. That’s only my opinion and everyone has one……so many will disagree.I have an regular acoustic and an acoustic electric and strung both with these strings. It made each guitar sound like a 3 thousand dollar guitar. I find that most inexpensive guitars have cheap strings, most can be vastly improved with something as simple as new strings. I really believe in these strings. When I find a good thing, I am hooked and I will not use anything BUT these on anything acoustic. On a guitar, strings are everything. The tone feel and bend is what’s important. These are very light and VERY easy on the fingers, unlike clunky stock strings on most acoustics. I guess they think you need big, think strings to produce volume….not so. Some will disagree saying they break if they’re too thin. I would rather have a shorter life with strings, getting a pure beautiful, rich sound than have a long lasting flat string. My thick stock strings were killing my fingers. These are effortless to play and sound so sweet and mellow, just like an acoustic should sound.Again, someone will chime in and bash me for saying this…but I would put my inexpensive Yamaha up against guitars costing 10 times what I paid. I have no plans of changing brands now I’ve made the string switch. Some say thin strings break easily, but you should change strings often anyway. I can do a string change-over in about 15 minutes on a bad day. It’s worth the effort. I don’t plan on hammering my acoustic anyway. That’s what the Fender is for. AND it’s not that I’m cheap either. I own 18 guitars, 16 of which are electrics. 3 Gibson Les Paul’s, 2 Fender Strats (one American) a couple of Dillions (another great find) and some other nice guitars. My Acoustic is just an inexpensive Yamaha 700 but is a very nice guitar for the money. But after changing the strings it sounds like an expensive Martin. It didn’t take me long to throw a set of these on my acoustic electric and got the same results.5 stars in my book, more if they’d allow that. There are no other options unless someone gives me a set that blow me away.

Great Strings for Beginners
Installed on a Martin D-15M, had never changed strings in my life and it was easy. These lighter weight strings seem easier to fret and don’t buzz. Great for beginners like myself that haven’t developed the finger strength for thicker strings. If there is a compromise by using the Extra Light strings VS Medium I’m not sure what it would be. These sound great to me!!

EJ-19s = Dull sounding on my Yamaha, but EJ-16s = Awesome
I like a warm tone and love the ways my Yamaha FS830 sounds. I thought the EJ-19s would sound even warmer than the EJ-16s, but just sounded dull. Not sure if just not a right fit for my guitar or possibly the low E and A strings might have been to big to fit properly in the nut slots, or so it seemed when I took them off to put a set of EJ-16 back on. (Which sounded awesome again!)

The best of the best.
Look no further than these. They are timeless and will last long enough to make you want to change strings when the time comes(to a fresh set of EJ42’s). Every other brand (and I’ve played most of them) sound great but have either had an early breakage (I play Beard’s so its not the instrument) or lose tone so fast that string changes become more trouble than they’re worth for most players.

D string broke while stringing guitar
Absolutely love the tone, brightness of the strings. Easy to chord which makes it great for beginners and professionals alike. Only disappointment was the D string snapped while trying to string the guitar. I guess I will have to order another set just to get the D string. I will purchase these strings again.

Good for average players who don’t wanna pay a lot
I’m certainly no professional or anything like that but I play guitar all the time. Because of that I run through strings fairly rapidly, so for the price these are a good option. Honestly, the reason I give 4 stars is because to me the sound fades pretty quickly, but they last well after they fade and because I’m just playing for fun, I just keep playing them despite the sound not being so great. So for the money and the initial sound quality they are perfect for me because all I really need is strings that can last a while and let me enjoy playing without emptying my wallet. Also I usually get the light(sometimes custom light), and not only have I never had a string break while stringing it like some other reviews have reported, but typically I don’t have a string break until well after it feels like one should. Also if I had to guess most people who complain of strings breaking either don’t know how to string a guitar or(and) are using extra light strings because I have with another brand had the extra light G strings pop while stringing which is one of the several reasons I don’t use extra light anymore. Those strings are just too tiny and too easy to break. I had to replace my saddle because I was breaking strings like crazy a while back. It was always my B string and finally I realized the saddle had a sharp pit in it that was cutting my strings. I was wanting to upgrade to bone anyway so it worked out and I haven’t had anymore issues with strings breaking before expected.

D’addario Bluegrass strings are my go-to strings from now on….BTW, I don’t play bluegrass.lolI don’t know how long they will last and don’t care as I will reorder as often as needed. Sound is everything and these strings have it all.

easy to install, officiant packaging.
As someone who’s never changed a string themselves before, I had 0 clue if I even bought the right kind of string in the first place, but it was surprisingly simple. It is a very pretty gold and comes with all 6 of the stings, and sounds great even next to my other strings that are not of the same brand. It’s pretty much everything you could ask of a guitar string. My only gripe would be the length. It had a decent bit extra to clip off but it still felt a little short but it didn’t cause any problems and I doupt it would for others. (for reference my string ended up being roughly 2ft 1in after applied)

Prefer lighter D’Addario for playing out…a little brighter BUT for the guitars sitting around the house for constant play/practice/jamming with friends or whoever the mediums are just fine, last a little longerGenerally, ANY strings only last one set when playing out.

Never worked…
Purchased this amp supposedly new. I was traveling extensively when the amp arrived so sat in my music room for over a month. When I finally had the time to plug in, the amp did not work. It was past the “return window” so can’t return it. I actually did not think I would need to return it as it was supposed to be new. It looks new. It just does not work! Lol Oh well…$320 wasted but a lesson learned…don’t assume because it is new that it works. It gets a 1 rating because I cannot give it a BIG ZERO!

Ehhh… tone sucks
Only cool thing about this amp is the built in tuner and all the different variables you can change. HOWEVER, it is an absolute pain. I spent more time trying to find a tone that I liked rather than playing it. If you like spending countless hours finding a sound that you like then this is for you, I sent mine back and will not be purchasing another. Replaced this with a boss katana 50 mkii and it’s the best decision I’ve made.

I play almost everyday on this Line 6 amp and the software you have to download on the line 6 website provides a lot of presets that fits your sound playing needs or use the knobs for the pre-loaded presets. Very high quality. The line 6 software online takes a second to find if you are not tech savy but worth the stress.

Good amp for a small model, lots of options and quality sound. Kinda wish I had gone one model up with the Spider V30, which has more features, but there are still plenty here and for a practice amp, it provides plenty of sound volume, quality tones, and different effects.

I have a Spider 30 watt that I’ve used and abused in the shop for 12 years and it still works perfectly so I figured I’d go with a Line 6 again. I have to say I was surprised that that this little amp with its 8 inch speaker sounds as big as my 30 watt with a 12 inch speaker. A great bedroom or practice amp with more than enough effects settings to keep you busy for a long time.

Well built, sounds great and wireless ready… I would suggest getting a usb type A to B 2.0 cable to connect an android/mac pc to the line 6 so you can use everything the amp has to offer.

Best amp(s) ever.
I am so glad this amp was recommended to me. The ability to have at your fingertips multiple sounds, the library of great amps make this product a tremendous bargain. Line 6 takes great pride in producing an amp the is kickass. I wished I had known about these years before. Thanks Line 6.

awesome powerful amp. Sounds terrific and so much room to grow. Endless, instant and easy guitar effects. Quality, heavy and enjoyable unit. Like the size and sturdiness. Exceeded expectations, seems to be a great example of a line 6 product. Can get very loud.

Perfect Amp
I needed a combo amp with great sound, ease of use, little maintenance and some bells and whistles. I am happy I did not order the 120 because this 60 is louder than I could ever need and it is light weight enough to pop in the car and go jam at a friends house. Perfect amp for me.

Got way more than I expected in replacing the starter Peavey amp…
I’ve loved the idea of Line 6 products, especially around modeling, for 20 years, but never picked anything up.Now I regret it, retroactively…This amp is amazing. I’m a little sorry I didn’t go with the 60, but I have time to get good before justifying going bigger 😉

They tried too hard and messed up a good thing. Bad amp.
Not good. Was excited but I just started playing and all the presets are playing totally random tones and effects. I hooked it up the PC to create and load up the tones I want which are pretty much just the standard spider 3 tones but there are millions of tones and effects on the app and none of them are what i want. It’s just too much bs. I just wanna play and not have insane mode sound like I’m George Clinton despite reprogramming that setting 40 times and finding nothing but trash settings. Factory reset leaves you with totally random settings every time. I’ve used line 6 for decades, this is a huge disappointment.

Early Christmas gift
I just got back into playing guitar after a 5 year break. One of my old friends found out I quit playing and gifted me a guitar. It felt so good to actually have one on my hands again, but I still needed an amp for it. I had a Spider 4 back when I used to play, which was an awesome amp. So naturally I was interested in the new Spider 5’s. I didn’t have enough cash to buy the 30 Watt combo I wanted, but to my surprise and glee my Mom decided to get one for me as an early Christmas gift. Now I’ll talk about the amp. It’s actually surprisingly loud for a 30 Watt amp. There is also a free download from Spider that helps you find just about any time. In my opinion this series is better than the Spider ,4 in terms of tone and quality of simulated cabinets and effects. Literally any tone I’ve wanted to achieve, I’ve been able to get pretty close. It’s lighter than the Spider 4 series, but it improves on tone and is just as loud. For a beginner to advanced player this practice amp gives you all you need. My one concern is the ease of use. Since I had a Spider 4 first it was pretty intuitive to me, but a new user may experience a slight learning curve. Overall this is a high quality practice amp that has a lot of bang for your buck.

Looks great but ultimately a disappointment
Over the course of 17 years or so, I have owned maybe 10 Line6 amps ranging from the original spider series 15-30 amp models, half stacks, spider 75 jam amp, etc. This model looks spiffy and sounds pretty darn good with what’s available on the amp itself. Unfortunately, its selection of effects and amp models can only be accessed via ‘Spider remote’ app which does not work on my Win10 or android devices. Despite various wiki articles and cable, method, change outs. Also, FYI Line6 support articles and knowledge base on this issue is widespread yet solutions are scarce. I gave up and am selling it on OfferUp.

Happy Camper!
I got amp for the recording and PC control features it has. The amp is amazing like other Line 6 amps but being able to use the software to adjust your set-up is really cool. The downloadable free Cubase software and downloadable Asio driver for the spider amp alow it to become a recording hub. Recording your guitar directly to your PC, adding instruments, loops ,midi etc. in the program is why I bought it. Finding the driver and getting the Cubase is your typical rig-a-ma-roll to go through but It’s worth it to save a lot of money on recording software. It’ free. 30 watts is nice for home and jamming but you may want to go to a 60 watt with a rock drummer.

Great amp… if it works.
5 stars for customer service, but only 4 for the amp itself — The music zoo went above and beyond with this one as the first amp I received did not work at all and they shipped out a second no questions asked… the second came and also did not work so needless to say I was fairly upset. To my surprise they allowed a second exchange, also no questions asked! The third one actually works great. Plenty of power for practice and the features of this amp allow for some versatile play all by itself… just kinda wish the first one… or even the second one, worked new out of the box.

High Value High Performance
Best quality amp of its kind. High Value for what you get and feature rich. Built in tuner is nice and effects presets are nice. I live in a condo so this guy is nice with head phones on. Wish I could play it on 10 to see what it can do but I would get kicked out. I am very happy with my purchase. I quit playing when my son was born and sold all my rigs so I wanted something now that he is older and money isn’t a problem. I am using it with a Jackson JS22 and it sounds great.

Sweet amp that does a lot
I have an acoustic and electric Les Paul that I really just play for my own pleasure. Initially purchased the MK2 30 and loved it so much I bought a 2nd, albeit MK II 60.The 30 packs enough punch tho. I love the preset effects that are accessible from the knob. However you’re better off downloading the spider software to your computer and connecting a printer port cable to the back of the amp to your computer if you want to have quicker accessibility and changing to another effect. It also has built in metronome and drums loop. Definite recommend

Amp fine, software and update process not so much
Nice practice amp. Lots of presets and much improved sound vs previous models. Pretty light and amp itself is very easy to set up and use. But…. software is un-user friendly. It does what it’s supposed to but way too many steps and no real instructions. If you invest in one, Google the setup and update info from other users first. It will save you a lot of time.

Death, Taxes, Line 6 Brilliance
It may sound cliché or like a sales pitch, but it’s true, Line 6 made “practice” amps extinct long ago. With limited space in my new studio, I turned to an old friend, with some new wrinkles with a Spider 20 mkII. I’ve been playing professionally for many years and it quickly struck me that to get 1/100th of tones when I started out, would have weighed a metric ton & cost THOUSANDS. This little baby could be Mic’d up for practically any gig. Until Yamaha bought them, I was beginning to think Line 6 was run by aliens trickling down audio tools as we can handle them. I’ll admit to being one of the countless skeptics of “modeling” when Line 6 launched. A few years later my Fender Vibrolux with 2 cabs burnt on the road. Thankfully a kid there had a L6 and quickly tuned me in. I was so amazed, I bought it from him and have been using their gear ever since, with 0 disappointment. The only drawback was the small, hard, harder, hardest mini screen for selecting and editing tones on earlier Spiders. For less than one pedal:Endless, Clear TonesCreate, Save, ShareCrunch, Acoustic, BassWorld Of WondersRecord ALL Instrument TracksVery Little Electricity CostALL IN A BRIEFCASE FOR UNDER $150HAVE TONES WILL TRAVEL

Should have bought this years ago
Bought the 60w, it will be plenty for our usual backyard gang of 50. The variety of sounds both built-in and on-line is incredible. Will not need my effects pedals now but will add on the line 6 pedal. The interconnect with the app makes loading and tweaking new tones incredibly easy. Was thinking about getting a 12 string, won’t need it with the FX it has.

Spider V 30, great little practice amp
BACKGROUND (REVIEW BELOW): As people are often more interested in the views of people who share similar interest & taste,, I’ll start by saying that I’ve been playing for 30 years, I own a variety of guitars and amps. What I play most often is my American Fender Deluxe Strat through a Fender 4X10 Blues De’Ville tube amp, usually coupled with an Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer.. As many will know, with that setup, you can get as close as you need to,, to the tone of Jimi, Stevie, and many others. So why buy a new amp?The problem (again, as many will know) with the amp mentioned above is “weight” and “volume.” It is simply too heavy and too loud for daily jamming in the extra bedroom, or in the den, when I want to play along (fills and solos) with my stereo.. I bought that amp because I was a tone junkie. I love overdriven 6L6’s. But it’s simply too much amp for my needs.. Normal house living doesn’t allow for overdriving 6L6’s. Yet I can’t part with it. Once every six months, I’ll dust it off and get my fix.. Then it’s back to jamming through my practice amp under 90dB.REVIEW STARTS HERE: I chose the Spider V 30 based on several YouTube reviews. I wanted small, versatile, and inexpensive. I got ALL THREE with this amp, and am very happy with my purchase. At first, knowing the older Spider V 30’s came w/ 12″ speaker (because I bought one for my son 10 years ago (and he still loves it BTW)), I was hesitant. The new version has an 8″ speaker and tweeter horn arrangement. But I think I understand why LINE 6 chose to go this direction. The new V 30 is compact, PERIOD. They are getting 95% of the sound with half (?) the weight.. I confess to not know the actual values, but side by side with my son’s,, his amp is much heavier, but sounds very similar. It was worth it.. It’s amazingly compact. The older version has a dedicated knob for every tonal quality and effect level, which added to it’s required size and weight. The new version has half the knobs, shrinking the panel size requirement by nearly half. The new version has a button to toggle between tone and effects, which are LED backlit. It’s awesome. Every feature is one button press away, intuitive, and easy to see, even in low ight conditions..This, being a modelling amp, means that some very smart signal processing engineers over at LINE 6 matched the waveforms of the sounds of various popular amps and songs. So if you like the sound of the guitar on AC/DC Back in Black, you can go to that preset and be in the ballpark for amp and effect sounds. It will not be perfect, but surprisingly good. And once that preset is selected, you can EASILY adjust the tone are effect levels to tweak it. And you can EASILY save your adjustment. I say easily because I figured it out without even once touching the manual !! A big plus if you ask me.The only area that I think can be improved upon (and here, I may be wrong because I refuse to read the manual) is that the presets are not random access. If you know that a preset you like was around number 60 (there’s 128 presets to play with), and if you are currently on preset 4, you have to scroll through 56 presents to get to no. 60. I wish I could make jumps of 10. But again, there may be a way to save the ones you like to easy access location.. Or rearrange them per’se. I’m just to lazy to research it.ErrolNOLA

Best Practice Amp For The Money!
This is my third Line 6 Spider V amplifier! I own 2 Line 6 Spider V 20 models, and love them. Now I have this third amp that I love so much! I can’t wait to test out this amp with my new Jackson Dinky JS 12! The features of this amp are amazing! If you’re looking for an amp to use while practicing at home, or at a friend’s house, this is it. A friend of mine had a Line 6 Spider Jam amp that I played with years ago while an Ibanez guitar was plugged into it. The Spider V60 MKII is a huge upgrade from the Spider IV series! Best features of this amp are the looper where I can write riffs that come to mind, I can practice to drum loops, explore all the pre-sets, and amp cab models, and just to clarify, if yall want to practice along to backing tracks when using the aux port on the back of this amp, the audio from a phone or tablet, sounds amazing while either device is plugged into the back of the amp. So you won’t have to worry about listening to the muffled sound of audio that goes into your amp while practicing. You will hear the backing tracks loud and chrystal clear. This amp is nice and loud. I haven’t tested out the classic speaker mode feature, but will eventually. At first, the knob to change pre-sets is a bit tricky when accessing the drum loops, and metronomes, but this amp is worth a buy! Don’t hesitate! Buy this amp! 5 out of 5 stars and so glad I bought this amp. Glad I did not pass this up! Exceptional tones, heavy and crunchy high gain distortion tones, and nice beautiful clean tones! Get it!

This thing is a beast
The media could not be loaded.
First off you don’t need a guitar to customize or hear the preset tones because of the demo mode you can turn this on and hear what each tone sounds like which is nice because I don’t have to sit there and play something random to hear the preset second of all it has a drum machine so no need for a pedal with a drum machine this amp has so many features I played around with it for 2 hours without plugging in a guitar to the thing 3rd thing I noticed this right away it’s very light weight and looks sleek it produces good quality sound this amp is an all in one you can do anything with this amp this thing is a beast and offers the best bang for your buck I bought the 60watt version for testing purposes but rest assured I will get the 240watt because this 60 watt amp puts my line 6 spider 3 to shame and it’s got 2 12 inch speakers I’ve been using that for gigs for a few years and got a decent deal on it only thing I wish was that this amp came with a foot pedal like my spider 3 came with I would recommend this amp to anyone looking it’s affordable and arrived at my door quickly you can also download a remote app and adjust your amp settings from your phone and I do believe you can see other people’s tones and use those as well this amp isn’t difficult to use I figured alot of the bells and whistles out without reading the manual within minutes the preset tones are awesome there’s over 100 of them and multiple fx features and you can access everything with the touch of a button you can adjust amp settings with the knows and press a button that switches you over to a sound fx menu and adjust those with the knobs this is probably the most versatile amp I’ve ever owned it also has a metronome with multiple metronome sounds to fit all your needs the drum machine presets are pretty sweet to only complaint I have about that is you can’t adjust the speed just the volume but none the less still pretty dope I hope that those of you that buy this amp enjoy it as much as I am

Nice tones from dist. and clean
I’m really enjoying my Line 6 Spider 60 watt amp. I found a couple clean settings That I’ll need to memorize. The clean setting ( the first setting) gives you something warm on your rhythm toggle switch or your neck pick up. “boutique” is another clean setting I really liked. I found five or six distorted patches that were next to perfect. After watching a youtube video on a review . . .(by Dawsons ) I realized I could add more reverb to my patches. The reverb sounds good and the f/x setting next to the reverb knob dial (delay setting) is perfect for what I want to do with this amp.I’m thinking about buying the line 6 POD HD 500x – which cost $550 . . .but gives you the ability to change settings while on stage with a simple foot tap. Don’t get me wrong, the effects on the Spider are great . . .but I need to figure out how to switch effects with out walking to the amp and turning a knob . . . .This amp is great as a practice amp . . .and you could, probably, take it to a studio and get what you want. I’ve heard some negative critiques about using this amp in the studio . . .but I feel this amp (with it’s effects patches) can do the job and give you the tone you’re looking for. For the price, this effects system is a steal . . . .and I’ve been using Line 6 amplifiers for 20 years . . .and found the effects system on most of their amps was, generally, what I wanted. The Spider is way better than what I had 20 years ago . . . .and 60 watts is perfect for what I need, today. The Spider V 240 HC head is another way to go . . .but I still want that POD HD 500x. I need a good foot pedal . . .and after using the Boss gt6 (which is as old as dirt) I’m finding the line 6 line of products are what I want, today. I’ve heard horror stories about the Boss ME-80 . . . never tried it . .and I’m not sure about purchasing that model . . .but after buying the Spider . . .I’m sold on line 6 products . . .

Superior Capo
My son bought one of these for his guitar from our local Sam Ash about 2 years ago. Springs and resistance have held up very well, still feels like it’s new. Had to get one for myself as my old Kyser has seen better days.
Hagen LeBray –
Great Capo
Probably the best capos I’ve ever used for six-string guitar. (I have several.) Up until now, Kysers have always been my favorite, and still are for 12-string. (Don’t get me wrong; Kysers are great capos, too.) I don’t play professionally these days, but my daughter does, and I gave her a couple of these. She really likes them.

Clears Thumb, Obstructs Index Finger
Leaves more room for thumb, but obstructs index finger instead, which is worse! Returned this and sticking with my simple and low-profile, trusty Shubb GC-30, which obstructs less than any capo I’ve tried.

Wish I had this years ago.
It just works. Set it and forget it. Didn’t have to readjust like another popular capo on the market. Twice the surface area to evenly spread tension on the strings.
Anne Bussell –
fail…
Spring is not tight enough and really it is awkward and gets in the way even more than a standard capo.
MARK –
Nicely made.
I misplaced my nice kyser capo & having previously used cheapie ones, I bought the best deal on a ‘branded’ one on the day.I didn’t read that it was ‘offset’ when I purchased, but it seems like a reasonable idea for players that don’t like the proximity of the back of the capo with the hand. The offset is only about 5mm or 3/16inch, but it’s probably worth having if your hands/style need extra clearance.Has a bit more radius than other capos I’ve used, so if that’s been an issue for you on a particular guitar, this could be worth a try.Nicely made & finished. Does the job.
M. P. Folan –
Nice Idea, Well Executed
I’ve been a fan of Kyser Capos for a few years, the only problem with them is the problem that this Capo addresses, the lack of space when playing in the first fret, cords such as a B7. This Capo gives you enough space up there to really make it sound nice and clearThe finish is a matte type, which I don’t find attractive to look at but, it does help to blend in with a dark colour fretboard such as rosewood or ebony
