I’m really enjoying using this in my lessons to teach the sight reading

Great.
My daughter uses it for her voice lessons. She seems to like it. Her teacher is the one that had us purchase it for her lessons.

Excellent quality material, geared for student use with a qualified teacher
As a private voice teacher I have looked for over a decade for a product like this to support my young singers in learning to sight-sing and read music. It combines creative opportunities into the curriculum, too. Useful for teaching beautiful pitch matching, note reading and even composition of melodies. I have only used the introductory level with students, so far. It is in a workbook format so each student requires their own copy to work through. I am very pleased with their reception of the materials and like what I’m discovering in the other levels in this series, expecting to continue as student progress. The authors are approachable and willing to communicate with teachers, and that’s a added bonus not found often. Students purchasing this book from Amazon, at my request, receive the order within the week between lessons, I am very pleased all aspects of this resource.

useful and enjoyable
So far my 8-year-old student has enjoyed the work in this book. The lessons are very doable as part of her voice lessons; we can finish each in 5-7 minutes with plenty of time to work on other things.

Wonderful method for children’s singing lessons
I absolutely love the Full Voice series for teaching children, and I also use it for my adult students who are interested in theory and ear training (I wish they all were because I regard it as essential for vocalists). I recommend everything they have published.

Excellent for my children’s vocal music class
This set of books plus the online materials on FullVoice.com have been invaluable in the children’s vocal music class I am teaching. The kids love the materials, and so do I. Even the 7 and 8 year old kids understand the theory, because it is so clearly explained in small steps. I will be ordering the next level books as soon as we finish the intro level. Thank you!!!

True Gem
I’m a public school music teacher and this book is amazing! I love how it teaches theory and pitch at the same time! What a gem for the private sector!

Simplistic
These books are too elementary for a student who has a musical background. I had hoped for more voice technic, and less basic theory instruction. I found myself working VERY quickly through these with my voice students.

IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO TEACH MUSICIANSHIP TO YOUNG STUDENTS THESE BOOKS ARE FOR YOU!
My Bachelors and Masters degrees in Vocal Performance taught me how to teach adults how to sing. Acquiring those degrees DIDN’T teach me how to teach young singers OR how to TEACH theory. (Understanding theory and TEACHING it are two VERY different things I’ve learned). These books changed EVERYTHING!!! I feel comfortable taking young singers now because I know how to give them a FULL music education. The pages are colorful, easy to read, and keep the students engaged. My kiddos LOVE them. I bought the entire set. EXCELLENT investment. You will NOT regret this purchase!!! All you need to do is open the books and start having fun!

Best series for teaching kids to sing!
I teach both private voice lessons and small singing classes for children and youth. These workbooks are THE BOMB! Seriously! It covers such a vast array of learning styles when teaching theory, ear training, sight singing and age appropriate vocal training. Movement, rhythm, solfeg, musical terminology, theory… it has it all, and my students love it. I use these for my elementary kids mostly, but I have friends who use them for their 7th and 8th graders as well! I also highly recommend the warm-ups and sight singing books!

Good supplement to lessons
Easy enough for 6year old to follow

Excellent lesson accompaniment
Excellent book to support vocal lessons! It is really helping my student to understand solfa and the curwen hand signs. The books are theory based, so contain no repertoire – this is very individual to your students, which is why they do it that way. We spend a few minutes at the end of each lesson working on the exercises.
